Race for a Cure
Race for a Cure is an initiative created by Michael, Ben and Toula Kavich to support life-saving research conducted by Breast Cancer Trials.
Having experienced the disease personally, their aim is to raise funds for breast cancer clinical trials research so that more lives can be saved and Australian families are spared from heartache and loss.
Breast Cancer Trials is the only independent research group in Australia and New Zealand which conducts clinical trials in breast cancer. People diagnosed with breast cancer today benefit from the treatments proven effective in past clinical trials. The clinical trials we conduct today can give people access to potential, new breast cancer treatments and what we learn from these trials will influence how breast cancer is treated and prevented for people in the future.
The pink-liveried Race for a Cure vehicles entered in the 2017 and 2018 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour events unite motorsports professionals, sponsors and enthusiasts in raising funds for a cause important to all women and their families.
Breast Cancer Trials is delighted to be the sole recipient of all funds raised, and your gift is critical to what we can achieve.
